The creamiest custards are known as Petits Pots de Creme and are baked and served in individual containers.
Here is a UNIQUE versatile set of European (Traum Feuer West Germany--making these vintage?) pots de creme cups that also do double duty as pots de feu cups for spiced rum (maybe hot chocolate?).  You can find a couple of the cups only on Etsy for comparison (or if you need more) They also work as mini (individual size) Swiss fondue pots (caquelons) with rechaud (warmer) below
The set includes 4 cups 3 1/4" diameter and depth; 4 warmers with metal bases (also known as rechauds) that hold tea candles  (candles not included) to keep your dessert or drink warm; and 4 shot glasses for adding flavor to custard or drink.
Two of the cups have the Traum Feuer flame design and two have stylized circles around the bottom of the cup.
These are quite unique and make a delightful set.  RARE
