Antique Champion Silver Piston tuba made in Chicago.  I bought this tuba many years ago and it was reported at the auction to be owned and played by a member of the Petersburg PA band/orchestra in the late 1800's. I wish that I had tried to get the complete history, but it's been over 30 years and the history is probably gone. The tuba has many dents and dings on both the main body and the bell and probably over 100 years of patina.  The tuba is complete minus the mouthpiece. The keys are free, unfrozen and my wife has played this instrument on occasion.  Please view all pictures for more detail.
Bell diameter - 12.5 inches
Tuba length   - 30 inches long
Tuba has a good tone quality.  Minimal damage to tubing.  Bell creased as pictured.  Mouthpiece is NOT included.
