The
TUNABLE
feature of this quarter wave antenna system allows it to perform much better than all other brands of glass mount antennas that are factory pre-tuned and not adjustable.
You can expect
up to +3dB
more signal gain with this PCTEL/MAXRAD antenna due to lower VSWR as compared to other brands.
The ability to adjust the VSWR after installation allows for way more performance and installation flexibility with difficult mounting locations.
This antenna does not use any open curly-Q coils that can catch debris and become detuned at highway speeds due to whip coil deflection.
Use of a VSWR or Vhf antenna meter is suggested to properly tune the antenna for best performance.
A mounting location on a vehicle window as close as possible to the roof line is recommended since the vehicle roof is part of the whole antenna system.

The included RF capacitive plate is taped to the inside of the body sheet metal.
The antenna can be used with all

If you need a double shielded coaxial cable for maximum isolation from adjacent vehicle wiring then please choose our longer 17.9, 20.5 or 23.0 foot coax cable length variations which use a dense tinned copper braid over foil shield for 100% performance.
The double shielded coax cable uses Teflon insulation to survive in hot installation locations like under the floor carpeting near catalytic convertors.
This On-Glass antenna system is the ORIGINAL glass mount antenna system that was first designed by the Antenna Specialists Company from Cleveland, Ohio which became the absolute benchmark for the Land Mobile Radio and Cellular industries.

We offer USPS mail for our economy shipping method and UPS for faster shipping methods.
Please note that ALL USPS mailings can possibly be delayed due to the Pandemic. USPS mail delivery is most definitely not the same as it was before the pandemic started.
Per USPS their staffing is greatly reduced in many areas across the country due to the pandemic which is causing some long unpredictable delays. Most packages have arrived in a timely manner to our customers; HOWEVER, some 1st class packages can take 2-3 weeks to be delivered.
Priority mail does tend to get to you faster; HOWEVER, it too can take an extra few days to receive your package than is expected.
If your package is not delivered in a timely manner per USPS we have to wait until after the expected delivery date of your package to 1st complete an online Help Request form before we can start a Missing Mail Search Request. If after 7 business days from when we submit the Help Request Form your package still has not arrived, we can then submit the Missing Mail Search Request.
You need to be patient with your package delivery time frame.
We have done our job when we ship out your order now it is up to USPS to do their job in a timely manner to deliver your package.
With USPS mail, be aware that shipping times can vary greatly with this economy shipping service on a good day and especially during national emergencies, severe weather or Holiday periods. If you need a faster delivery date please choose from the different UPS shipping methods. RETURN POLICY:
Within 60 days of the auction close if; you are not satisfied with the item, you changed your mind, have buyer’s remorse, or made a mistake, you may return the item in the same condition as when it was purchased for a refund.
A restocking fee of 20% will be applied for all refunds.
We will refund the full item price paid less the original shipping costs, and the restocking fee. Any missing items will be deducted from the refund at the current manufacture suggested retail prices.

The warranty date starts on the purchase date and any repairs or replacement items issued under warranty will be covered only for the original warranty period.
Buyer must obtain a Return Materials Authorization number from rcbi before shipping the item with prepaid shipping.
Buyer must include proof of purchase and the RMA number with the item.
Warranty does not cover item damage caused by accident, installation mistakes, abuse, other defective buyer supplied components, add-on accessories, neglect, modifications, alteration, misuse, repairs made by others, improper adjustments, modifications, tampering, damage received when shipping the item back, or acts of god. Also any malfunctions or damage caused by failing to follow directions will not be covered.
The item returned will be inspected, photographed, and retested for all specifications to determine warranty status.
If the item is found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion and the item will be returned to the buyer at no cost.
If the item requires non-warranty repairs, an estimate of repair costs will be sent to the buyer.
