Description

The AS-4266A/PRC antenna is an 8-foot manpack antenna for use with portable SINCGARS Radio Systems RT-1439/RT-1523 or similar system. The antenna is made up of an antenna element consisting of tube sections which can be disassembled when not in use. The antenna element is connected through the GPS assembly to a gooseneck assembly which in turn is connected to a connector/matching network assembly. A modified BNC connector attaches to the Radio System. The antenna is used when increased range of communications is required. The AS-4266A/PRC is produced to the U.S. Army CECOM Specification A3167801. The included addition of a M46-104A-R (Tan) L1 GPS assembly and M44-105A 40″ long cable assembly provides dual use capabilities which can also be purchased separately to retrofit existing AS-4266A/PRC antennas.
